A Chance2Dance are giving you the opportunity to revel in the experience that is Mariachi in one of the most wonderful dance venues …… the Tower Ballroom!!

In addition to CJ’s dynamic Mariachi Set, the versatile Dance Demon will be providing tunes to whirl you around the floor, all in all it really is shaping up to be a fantastic evening and great start to a fabulous comp weekend.

Doors open at 7.30pm.

This is an ideal opportunity to have a sneak preview of the competition Ballroom. There will be a Black and White dress theme, which is optional, but there will be spot prizes for best dressed on the evening!

Food will be served around 9.30pm, it’s the best food in the whole of Blackpool!

We will also be having a fun ‘Battle of the sexes’ competition during the night - this is free to enter, open to all, same sex couples only! Please come along and register free on the night.

Not forgetting there will be freestyle music playing throughout the evening by some of the Best DJ’s in the UK.

Whether you would like that extra chance 2 dance, watch some great dancers or if you are competing would like to test out the floor before the big day - this is one of the Best Friday night freestyles - not to be missed!

Good news is that Phil Webb is teaching the “concept class” at Mariachi on 23 Feb!!!

Phil is the better looking half of the “Phil & Yuko” partnership and has been Ceroc Champions 2 yes in a row, Chance to Dance UK Champions 2 years in a row and is the only dancer we know of who has been Champion of every major UK competition at the same time!!! After the class, U can get him up on the floor!

Well…. if U missed Southport, U might not know that the 2 afternoon Mariachi sets wre the most talked about sets of the weekend, with a whole range of new dancers raving about Mariachi, its variety, its passion and its freedom of expression!!! The good news is that Mariachi is booked again, already, for the afternoon slots at May/June Southport!!

the evening will start at 7:30pm and continue all the way through until 1:30am… 6 hours of expressive & interpretive music drawn from the expansive and extensive world of guitar driven music

for those that have never driven to this venue before - it is worth noting that The Harpur Suite is in a Mall and as such can’t be accessed directly by car. There is free parking in Home Lane/Boulevards just a short walk from the venue.
