2pm-6pm – Workshop Off the Beaten Track

Want to make the most of all the things you hear in the music, then this is the workshop for you

What we aim to do is have people listening to music in greater detail: listening for rhythms within a song, the counter rhythms… melodies, instruments, solos. Once we can hear something, we can dance to it. So, by listening to varied songs, we can increase our awareness of what happens in music, opening up our possibilities. Putting what we learn into practice, we will hear much more in the music, and mark it with our dancing…

There will be lots of listening, practical demos and time for dancing as well as showing some nice moves that encourage expressive dancing…

Then at 7pm with 2 rooms the music will commence!! and this time you can immerse your senses in the rich and delicious tunes that make a Mariachi blues set
