CJ is bringing Jivenites an evening of pure Mariachi and it is going to be fab!

Prepare yourself for an evening of expressive, expansive music; a night devoted to the best tunes you can dance to - all with a guitar treat at the heart of them… This will be the last chance we get to enjoy a Mariachi event at Buckden this year, and as Scotland is quite a distance to travel, make the most of the opportunity to enjoy this while it is in your own, English, back yard!

In conjuction with our fabulously decadent monthly Mariachi Tea Dance, each month we bring you a workshop to stretch your dancing to meet your desire to express yourself on the dance floor.

This month’s Mariachi Workshop is all about giving your dancing that little bit of performance oomph!! With competitions coming up, this workshop will be looking at some nice moves, but will also focus on competition dancing and skills. CJ has placed in National Competitions in “back to basics, aerials, showcase as well as DWAS or “lucky dip” categories at Leroc UK, Ceroc Scotland, Ceroc Midlands and Chance to Dance UK Open Jive Competitions.

The format is such that we will be running a masterclass kind of structure, directly addressing any questions or concerns you bring with regards to your dancing.
