After a fantastically successful first event, we are delighted to roll out a regular Mariachi Tea dance here in Scotland. We look forward to lots of cake, and we will provide tea/coffee/biscuits, etc to enjoy under the backdrop of Mariachi: music demanding to be danced to…

Not as intense as Full Phat, these Tea Dances will still push and stretch U as well as bringing new favourites and old friends and, of course, the hourly experimental track… ususally with the emphasis on mental!!!

And why not really indulge yourself and join us for the Musicality workshop in the afternoon!

An introduction to musicality…

What does musicality mean? How can I dance musically? Can I hear the music? If so, then what next??

All these questions and more are answered in this workshop. The focus is listening, and learning new skills which take our dancing forward leaps and bounds… There will be time for demos, practice on the floor and lots and lots of questions…

We aim to gender balance, so please book in advance.

Early bird special £20 for workshop & Tea dance if booked before 1 Nov. After that £20 for workshop only or £25 for workshop & tea dance.

a fabulous venue, amazing DJ’s, workshops to stretch you!! an event not to be missed and all for a good cause as well - 2 actually!!! - the community work of St Mary’s (for work with recovering addicts/ offenders/ debt advice/homeless), and the Glen Coe Mountain Rescue Team.

Friday 4th Dec – 8pm-1am - The ‘Alternative’ Vicar and Tarts Party - 2 Room Freestyle (Bring a cake!….. NOT fancy dress!)…..2 rooms, 4 great female DJs (Coralie Green, Patricia Rookyard, Rachel Pears and Sara White). £8.

Sat morning and afternoon – morning intermediate - Morris & Judith and afternoon advanced workshop - CJ & Yliander and Sara & Stanley

Saturday 5th Dec – Charity Ball – 8.00pm-3.00am. 3 rooms. 6 DJs, inc Ian ‘Lord’ Selby, CJ, Revdrop, Mark Phillips, Ken Blake. £10.
